A Little Oomph! from Kayla Curry

Hello everyone! I’m Kayla Curry and Johnny Cataffo is hosting me on his blog for the Blogger Book Fair. Thank you, Johnny.

Today I’d like to talk about my short story, Oomph!  It’s a quiet horror story with some gruesome bits, so only download it if you are mature enough. I’d say 16 and up. Speaking of downloading Oomph!, it’s FREE today and throughout the BBF. So get it on your KINDLE today! This deal goes from February 7th through 10th.

Here is the blurb:

Rosetta just wanted to feel alive.
Her eating disorder left her feeling weak and lifeless, so she goes out to find something that will make her feel alive again.
What she finds is a drug that lasts a whole year, but will give her the energy she craves.
Unfortunately, it has some strange side effects.

This story is a creepy tale meant to make your skin crawl. Don’t read it before bed, especially if you’re prone to dreaming about the things you read!

Oomph! is my first attempt at horror, and I hope I’ve hit the nail on the head. I like to try out new genres, and soon I’ll be attempting my first mystery series. The series will be 9 short stories that take place in the future. To keep up to date on all my writing, follow my blog at www.paranormallounge.blogspot.com. As the url of my blog suggests, I am also a writer of paranormal books.

My debut novel is Obsidian: Mystic Stones Series #1. It’s a story about vampires and what happens when they take over technology by planting a virus in the satellites that orbit earth.
