So a lot has happened, but at the same time, not as much as I’d like.
I’ve had a new idea, a book I’ve been working on for the past few weeks. It started as just making a few notes and has turned into 36,000 words.
Jimmy Figg is snatched by a group of hideous creatures, but the thing that has always made him a thorn in his teachers’ side and an outcast among his peers has given him a unique advantage. Can Jimmy use his ability to find out the truth behind his abduction, or will his captors succeed in their insidious plan?
I’ve been working out this idea for a few weeks and so far I’m really liking it. I am hoping it will be a good Early Young Adult addition to my repertoire of books. What do you think?
In other news, Sally Singletary’s Discovery is finally available on Kindle. Physical books are still delayed due to formatting issues. Awaiting another set of proofs right now. Hopefully these will turn out correctly and we’ll be in business!
Tears of Destiny is still on hold pending a workable cover. We’re still throwing around a few ideas, but nothing seems to have “tickled our fancy.”
Children of Earth is also on hold. I’ve had some feedback and have decided to rework the story. While most everyone who has read it has had a lot of positive things to say, I think the feedback I received is valid and warrants some consideration. Will keep you posted on the progress.
